Dear Bowler,

We are nearing the end of the season.  The last week of City Tournament is happening this week and a lot of leagues have ended and/or finishing up soon.

Just a couple of reminders...

League secretaries - send in those final average sheets.

There will be two more Coaching Clinics this season yet,   check out the dates and times.

The Annual Meeting & Board of Directors Elections will be happening on May 14 at Westgate Bowl @ 7:00 p.m.

Contact your bowling centers to find out what spring/summer leagues are available.  They are running specials for a Tiger game league, earn a ball league, etc.  Find one that fits your schedule.

Sincerely,

Thank you Andrea!
Thank you Andrea for all your years of service to the GGRUSBC Association and its Youth Bowlers.

It has been a pleasure to work with Andrea not only at the youth events but also she was the treasurer of her league.  Andrea is an inspiration to all the youth she has worked with.  She is a kind hearted person that will be deeply missed.  We wish her the best as she starts the next chapter in her life without being a part of the board.

Thank you for everything you have done.

A Future for the Sport

USBC has created a new initiative to promote and ensure a future for the sport of bowling. Over the next two months we will focus on promoting Youth bowling through our A Future of the Sport campaign. When you think about it, isn't that the core of what A Future for the Sport says?

All of the activities your association provides for Youth bowling deserve to be celebrated and communicated. This is the reason we have created these "billboards." Our sport has such amazing opportunities for kids, let's tell everyone about them.

Final Average Sheets
Final averages must include any roll-off and playoff games.  Please send final averages to the local association including all bowlers regardless of how many games bowled. A league cannot have a rule that omits any games from final averages.

Financial Statement

Every team captain is entitled to a complete financial statement of all the league's finances - that is all money taken in and handed out must be included on the financial statement.
